With the new year already here, it’s been a long tradition for many to set their New Years resolutions for the year ahead.
Making New Years resolutions are more often than not, easier said than done. A survey conducted in 2013 revealed that more than half (55%) of Australians don’t bother to set their traditional new year’s resolution with the top two reasons being they don’t believe in them and they were scared if they did that they wouldn’t keep them anyway.
Our client, David Penglase, Positivity and Wellbeing expert and author of Intentionomics says that having new years resolutions is not enough to accomplish or make changes in your life. To really achieve these set goals, we need to have the right intention to begin with.
David’s top tips for setting realistic New Years resolution this year are:
1. Get clear on your intention for yourself. Work on your personal character.
2. Get clear about your intentions for others.
3. Get clear on your personal values.
4. Align your New Year resolutions with your values.
5. Be grateful and accepting – review all you have now and be grateful for who you are and what you have.
Just in time for the New Year, David has launched The Intentionomics Inspiring Personal Prosperity Program, a ten-week online program based on the Intentionomics Blueprint of 9 Inescapable Truths for a Prosperous, Flourishing and Happy Life.
The program is designed to get participants intentionally thinking about things that will put you on the path of living a more happy, flourishing and prosperous life.
