Did you know that in Australia around 60% of women are purchasing colour cosmetics, yet only 5% of women are purchasing makeup brushes? An interesting discovery we wanted to share with our guests who attended the #RTtoolup Masterclass hosted by renowned Australian make up artist Sarah Laidlaw at Wella Studios.

It was all about getting back to basics with the #RTtoolup Masterclass, Sarah Laidlaw provided application tips and tricks with a live tutorial on the beautiful Catherine Paul. The night revolved around Real Techniques cult classics – Flawless Base, Enhanced Eye and Sculpting sets. Arguably the easiest and most affordable makeup tools on the market, making them the perfect companion whether you’re a beginner or a pro.

With so many makeup brushes on the market, it can be quite confusing linking a brush to its purpose. Luckily these coveted Real Techniques sets are conveniently colour coordinated for their specific needs and uses:

The main objective of the #RTtoolup Masterclass was to educate and bring awareness of the correct method of makeup application, as many of us are still guilty of using our fingertips or poor quality makeup brushes.
