Could starting young be the answer to Australia’s mathematics decline? Our client 3P Learning, a global leader in education technology and the creators of Mathletics, have today released their Baby Mathletics – Shapes App, designed for children aged 6 to 24 months.
Today we launched the app to media with balloon bouquet creative media kits sent to ourtop tier media targets, with each bouquet including three different shaped balloons in bright colours.
The first of its kind app focuses on shapes, known to be the first thing babies as young as 6 months can identify and interact with. The announcement comes following the recent TIMSS results that revealed Australia has slipped to the 28th position in the world mathematics rankings, falling 10 places since 2011.
The new Shapes app is a mathematical storybook that has been brought to life, introducing young learners to an extensive range of unique shapes with a 3D look and feel. As children turn the pages, lively and enthusiastic animations will engage a child and provide the opportunity for parents to pose questions, stimulate reactions and spark new interests in learning.
The Mathletics Baby – Shapes App is available now on the iTunes App Store for iPads and iPhones – $2.99
