Shark Shield is pleased to announce their latest partnership with new emergency response drone, Little Ripper Lifesaver. The military-grade, battery-powered drones are likely to become the Australian lifeguard’s new best friend especially thanks to the future inclusion of the Shark Shield deterrent solution in the Little Ripper sea rescue packs.
“The plan is to develop the technology in such a way that drops lifesaving gear to distressed people in the ocean environment. The S.O.S. Marine Pod will automatically inflate when it hits the water and deploy the electronic Shark Shield deterrent, along with a distress beacon,” adds Eddie Bennet, Little Ripper CEO.
Lindsay Lyon, Managing Director of Shark Shield says, “As the worlds only scientifically proven and independently tested shark deterrent, Shark Shield is the only credible partner for Little Ripper to work on this project. Shark Shield FREEDOM7 has long-life battery that lasts up to 6 hours with depth rated to 50 metres, providing peace of mind as a preventative measure, or effective when rescuing those in unfortunate situations.”
