Sign-Safe-Kids launch Australia’s first personalised Car-ID’s

According to the latest audit on improving road safety in school zones, there are an estimated 60 casualties each year in New South Wales alone, with one fatality due to unsafe parking practices*. In an Australian first, Sign-Safe-Kids have launched personalised Car-ID’s, designed to make the afternoon carline pick-up safer and more efficient. With carline’s being rolled out across Australia, the new Sign-Safe-Kids Car-ID’s are the must have ‘Back to School’ item for 2013.
Sign-Safe-Kids Car-ID’s were developed after carline mums, Elizabeth Adams and Sheila Eldridge were unable to find a better solution to the current home made signs that are easily lost or crushed. They have designed the Car-ID’s to be flexible, fit all car visors, be clear and legible from a 30m distance and glare resistant. They also feature a simple magnetic open and close button to ensure that drivers have both hands on the wheel and aren’t holding a sign while driving in a school zone.
